Trencher Guarantee/Warranty

Typically, the trencher seller provides some type of inspection of the trencher, provides the results of the inspection to prospective buyers, and then guarantees the accuracy of the inspection.

Many trencher sites offer limited warranties or guarantees of the trenchers they sell. Find out what components are covered, for how long, and how the trencher will be serviced under the warranty.

Your ability to dispute the inspection typically ends once the trencher has been loaded for transportation off of the seller's property.

Contract/Terms

Before signing any trencher purchase, rental or lease contract, make sure to read the contract in its entirety so that you know all of the terms and conditions contained therein. This may seem tedious (and it can be!), but it is good policy, especially for more expensive trenchers.
