Arranging the Rental:
Reserve the tool or tools ahead of time.
Make sure you have proper transportation for the tool or have the rental center deliver and pickup. Many of the larger tools require a tow-hitch.
Have the staff show you how to operate the tool or tools.
Test the tool before you take it home. Start it up and run it. Good centers will test and run their equipment between rentals.
Generally day rates are a better deal than hourly rates.
Some Common Rental Policies:
1. Renters are responsible for damage of equipment.
2. Equipment should be reserved 1 to 2 days prior to rental.
3. Rentals are either 3 hours, 1 day, 1 week or monthly unless otherwise noted.
4. Payment in full upon time of rental is required.
5. Delivery and pick-up is available on any piece of equipment for an additional charge.
6. All towable equipment comes with trailers at no extra charge.
